How to increase the value of emails you send and increase your signups and sales with Email Content Checker?

In just a couple of minutes, I will log in into ECC and show you the essential parts of this unique site.

My goal is for everyone to come away with some ah-ha moments today, but before we get started I want to ask you a couple of questions to get you thinking about why the buck starts here:

Question 1 - Many emails that marketers send end up in the Spam folder. Can you tell us why you think this might happen?

Answer: words like free, cash, or marketing, lots of punctuation, words in all caps.

Question 2 - What is one more thing that can land you in the spam box which you cannot control?

Answer: The mailer you use has a low send mail score.

If you use our lists like PFFA and FPM and the new ECC mailer, you are sending your emails out on quality mailers that have an average send score of 97. We keep our lists clean and use very powerful mail servers.
Some other mailers have lower send scores.

Let's test some subject lines.

Subject 1 - I don't want it free... do you?

This subject scored 84. This ended up in the spam folder.

Reason for bad score = the word free.

Now watch this simple change.

I don't want it for nothing... do you?

Now the subject scores 99 and we are good to go.

Subject 2 - This is BIIIIIIIIG for Online Advertising.

This subject scored 89. This ended up in the spam folder.

Reason for bad score = Found a word in all caps

Now watch this simple change.

This is Big for Online Advertising.

Now it scores 94

Want to score even higher?

This is big for online advertising.

Now we get a score of 99.

Did you notice the change I made?

Why did it change the score?

Many users capitalize the first letter of each word in their subject lines. By changing these to lowercase it makes your subject line stand out in the user's inbox.

Subject 3 - Jane Check out our two hottest programs! Cash Club Fund and DoubleupCrypto.

This subject scored 84. This ended up in the spam folder.

Reasons for the low score.

Reason 1 - the word Cash
Reason 2 - too many caps.

Now watch this simple change.

Now this subject scores 94 and we are good to go.

Subject 4 - {LIMITED OFFER} Almost Over.

This subject scored 85. This ended up in the spam folder.

Reasons for the bad score.

Reason 1 - The word offer is a spam word
Reason 2 - found words in all caps

Watch how simple this is to change.

{Limited Bargain } Almost Over.

Now the subject scores 94 and we are good to go.

Subject 5 - [Alert] He just discounted this... to FREE.

This subject scored 74. This ended up in the spam folder.

Reasons for the bad score

Reason 1 - The word free is a spam word
Reason 2 - Found a word in all caps

Now watch this simple change.

[Alert] He just discounted this... to zero

Now the subject scores 99 and we are good to go.

Now let's look at a message and see what we get.

The next area we are going to look at are the mailers.
